Royal Stag is a beer brewed in the traditional IPA style. This is a beer style that originates back to the 1800's. It was a strong. hoppy beer that was brewed to survive the long journey to India, hence the name 'India Pale Ale'. Many of the so-called IPA's produced today are weak alternatives that should be classed just as Pale Ales. Royal Stag will deliver a drinking sensation to savour, packed with body and an hoppiness to match.

This strong ale is brewed from the best Maris Otter pale malt blended with crystal malt and wheat malt to give a warm, full bodied flavour. Masses of Fuggles and Goldings hops are added to produce a hoppy character to balance the flavour and strength of the beer.
